PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Larry has more than 35 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the design of heating and air conditioning, plumbing and fire protections systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. He has worked on projects ranging in size from single space tenant finishes to large, complex multi-system commercial and industrial projects. He has experience ranging from private and governmental projects to working with contractors on design build projects.

He has experience working with many types of systems including steam, hot water, chilled water, variable air volume, water source heat pumps, central station and packaged type HVAC equipment.  He is familiar with fueling systems, waste oil collection and use, shop services and other similar systems.  He has also worked on projects requiring clean room and containment room design. The mechanical designs demonstrate energy efficiency and offer cost effective design solutions for different types of projects.

He also has extensive experience with field analysis and trouble shooting of existing systems, IAQ studies, energy audits and conservation studies. He has provided numerous studies and reports for school districts and other major clients. He has also done Technical Assistance energy reports for state energy grant programs and has done peer reviews of design documents prepared by others.

Larry has served as Principle-In-Charge of Engineers Consortium, Inc. for more than 18 years. He has assumed full project responsibility including design, specification and field observation. Previous experience includes 6 years as Mechanical Department Head for a 30 member Consulting Engineering Firm as well as experience ranging from small engineering firms to large international engineering firms.

Larry has served as project manager for numerous multi-disciplined projects, and has a proven track record of on-time completion. He has an excellent reputation as a project coordinator. His ability to stay in tune with the design process and to communicate with Owners, Architects, Contractors and other Engineering Disciplines makes him an asset to any project.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Greg has extensive experience in the design of governmental and corporate office buildings, sports, educational, retail/commercial, industrial and institutional facilities.  During the past thirty years, Greg has served as senior project engineer in mechanical engineering design of over 7,000,000 SF of new and existing space and has performed facility evaluations and lender reviews on over 30,000,000 SF of institutionally owned facilities.

Having worked at firms with engineering staffs as small as three engineers to large international engineering firms with engineering staffs of thousands, Greg has been exposed to a wide range of engineering design from the smallest tenant improvement to large scale projects such as master planning for the renovation of The Pentagon.  His experience includes the design of various types of HVAC, plumbing and fire suppression systems for commercial, institutional and industrial customers.   

Greg has a keen knowledge of both the design and construction processes, having been involved in traditional bid projects as well as numerous design-build efforts with a select team of contractors and designers.  His educational background has provided a practical basis for successful past engineering project management efforts.

Greg has had extensive experience with the analysis of existing systems, IAQ studies, energy audits and conservation studies.  He has also provided his expertise in relation to assisting customers in the process of selecting properties for investment, as well as for occupancy.

Greg is currently a Principle of Engineers Consortium, Inc.  Prior to joining Engineers Consortium, Inc., he owned Gladfelter Engineering Group which he operated for over seven years.  Immediately prior to that, he developed an engineering practice for Gastinger Walker Harden Architects, serving as project manager on various General Service Administration construction and facility management projects.

Greg is active in professional societies and has served on the National Board of Directors of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).  He has affiliations with ASPE, ASHRAE, and IFMA, serving on many committees at both the local and national levels.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mike has over twenty-five years of experience in the electrical consulting engineering and construction administration field. He has project experience ranging in size from single space tenant finishes to large commercial and industrial projects. These projects include both private and governmental projects. His design experience consists of electrical service entrance and distribution systems, interior/exterior lighting and controls, emergency/exit lighting, fire alarm systems, clock/intercom systems, security systems, and emergency power systems with generators.

Mike has served as Project Manager/Engineer on numerous types of projects including schools, commercial and retail spaces, athletic field complexes, wastewater treatment plants, baseball stadiums, and industrial facilities. The electrical designs are energy efficient and offer cost effective design solutions for different types of projects.

Mike has also conducted site surveys to evaluate existing electrical systems and provide recommendations for additions, replacement and energy conservation measures.

Mike has a working relationship with several design build electrical contractors in the metro area and is accustomed to providing engineering services for design build projects.
